Listen to What Our Staff Has Said:
“In my three years of working at LCAT I have learned so much. There are many benefits to working in private practice, especially at LCAT! I have flexibility in my schedule, an office space ready for me, biweekly pay, no billing headaches, and a referral list already waiting for me!
We have a great therapy team that has monthly meetings and check ins. Although we are private contractors, we still are dedicated to each other’s growth.
Amanda, the owner, is so committed to change, growth, innovation and creativity. She values all of our different skill sets and ensures each of us feels secure and supported in the practice”
-Nicole Scrivano, LMFT
“I have been working for LCAT since January 2018 and I have never been happier at a work place. I feel honored and grateful to work alongside Amanda, Nicole, Liz, Mike, Jennifer, and Stefanie. Not only are they great people, but we are always there to support each other whether it be clinically or personally and that is what community is all about.
Working at LCAT, I feel confident in my ability to be the unique and creative therapist that I always have been, while also having the opportunity to expand on my clinical skills via trainings and collaboration with my colleagues. I always feel comfortable expressing myself. Being a mom, it is important that I have a flexible schedule and being at LCAT I am given the freedom to create my own schedule.
I feel that my presence and my work is valued by both Amanda as well as my colleagues and clients. In conclusion, I couldn’t have asked for a better work experience and I am extremely happy being a part of the LCAT family”
-Tiffany Torok, LCSW
“Other than doing sex & relational therapy in an LGBTQ+ affirming practice, which has been my dream job since undergrad, I think the thing I enjoy about Life Coaching and Therapy is the perfect balance between independence and autonomy and being connected with a team.
I have the ability to set my own schedule and work with clients in the way I want to work with them. Also, I know my colleagues are right down the hall or a phone call away. I can turn to them when I need to, to either decompress about a difficult session or just talk about what’s going on outside of therapy life. I think it’s a great balance.
Life Coaching and Therapy is one of the first places I’ve worked at where our values are practiced directly, and how staff is treated, how staff treats one another, and then we carry that into our work with our clients. We value that we are whole people that are growing – all of our parts are accepted and celebrated and encouraged to grow.
That definitely comes through in how Amanda models interacting with us”
-Mike Saraceno, LMFT
“In my field of work as an assistant I have worked for several companies and I have learned that there are bad bosses, good bosses, and Amanda. She is not only a great person and an incredible boss, but she is a great leader for LCAT and for all its employees.
Thanks to her cheerful and positive energy, the workday turns out to be entertaining and productive. Since I started working for her, I have learned a lot from the therapeutic field and she always encourages me (and the whole team) to grow professionally and personally”
-Daniela Mesa, Executive Assistant
